Emergent
stainless steel, aluminium mesh, automotive paint, directinal speaker and cable
4200 x 2500 x 500 mm

Just as the Sydney coastline is in a constant state of change, 'Emergent' reflects these changes. the sculpture a shimmering energy field, emitting sound from deep within. A rainbow body from which something new, yet ever-present will come.

The poem tuened into Morse Code, then the sound was played with it as music score.

Henka
wire, tubing, parametric speaker, frame steeel and base cement
3000mm x 1200mm diameter

Henka acts as a metaphor for transfromation, the chamber is like the external body and the sculpture is the womb, from which something new will come. The sound component harnesses the workings of the internal soundscape of the sculpture manifesting as while noise emanating from the artwork and into and around the chamber.
